This place is heaven on earth... Rarely I have come across people of such stature. We enjoy going to VT and spending time with Jo and Mo.
If you are looking for a cheap bed don't go there, plenty of low end places to choose from. You come here if want value, comfort, beauty, location, quality.
The Lake Salem Inn is a beautiful get away right by the water. They have a canoe, kayaks, and paddle boats available for use on the lake. Not too far from amenities in downtown Derby/Newport. It is a great place to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. If your lucky you will even feed a chipmunk or two during your stay! The owners Mo & Joe are wonderful and make delicious breakfast to start your day right. My wife and I spent our wedding night here and came back for our first anniversary. We would definitely recommend this B&B and plan to return!
